hi! i'm tara. i make weird, one of a kind jewelry from fine silver, crystals, found objects, vintage coins, pool balls, and whatever strange thing i'm currently obsessed with. all handmade by me in my studio in historic downtown savannah, georgia.

but the story starts way before that.

foxlark was born from late nights, loud music, and the urge to create in a tiny NYC apartment with my other half matthew. what began as a creative project slowly became our whole life. making, traveling, living, building something together from nothing. the kind of life that feels like it was invented as it went along. because it was.

losing him changed me. and my art. it made the work matter more. every piece i make now carries him forward. a small, stubborn act of living loudly on your own terms even when it's hard. especially when it's hard.

a lot of what i make starts as something forgotten. upcycled, salvaged, repurposed objects that were once loved by someone and turned into something new that someone else will love again. vintage pool balls rescued from dive bars. old coins from flea market bins. found photographs. objects headed nowhere — set in fine silver and given a second life.

keeping things alive. keeping things from disappearing.

because i want these pieces to give you a little hit of joy every time you look down at your hand. something that makes the world feel a little lighter. a tiny reminder that weird and wonderful things still exist and some of them are meant for you.

you found foxlark for a reason. maybe you've always been the weird one in the room. maybe you spent years making yourself smaller and quietly decided to stop. maybe you just saw a ring that looked like it was made for your specific, particular, wonderfully strange self.
